TEB (tri-ethyl borane) is injected into the tailpipe to ignite the fuel. Because of wind direction, space restrictions, and safety reasons I couldn't stand directly behind the engines. If I had, I still might not have been lucky enough to get a shot like this one, taken by John Freedman in 1996.
