As of September 2017, 58-0088 is assigned to the 127th Air Refueling Group at Selfridge ANG Base, Michigan, after a previous stint with the 171st Air Refueling Wing.

58-0088, a Michigan Air National Guard KC-135 Stratotanker, sits parked on the ramp at Selfridge Air National Guard Base. The 127th Air Refueling Group recently exercised their operations and maintenance functions with the assistance of several other state's Air National Guardsmen in preparation for upcoming inspections. The refueling mission is relatively new to the 127th Wing, recently converting from C-130s to KC-135s in 2008.
